Texas A&M Aggies, aTm (official thread of jizz jars)

He's in year 5. Coaches rarely get more than 2-3 to prove it. He has not produced anything. The only time they lost less than 4 games was during a covid shortened season. His results very closely mirror his weak final year at FSU.

His boosters bought him the greatest recruiting class in history, and he rewarded them with a 7 loss season, soon to be 8.

The chances of those recruits, or Jimbo, being around in for Jimbo's 7th year, is exceptionally low. Buyouts do not mean anything to oil money.

They also signed about 75 blue chip DL. They weren't going to stay if it went well.

Now that it's a train wreck? Hello Mark Pantoni.

Didn't a number of them already decide to transfer and/or were suspended for various reasons? Or were those older players?

yep even with Oil money they probably need under 30 Mil buyout before they can think about firing him unless he does something really dumb and gives them a way out of that buyout

Bring him to Cincinnati. The old geezers who slipped a mickey into George Ratterman's drink, put him in bed with a Newport hooker, and tipped off the Enquirer's photog are anxious to pull off another coup.

“Remember when Texas and Texas A&M played a game of national importance over Thanksgiving weekend? That was awesome.”
I remember a game where one of them scored a rare 1-point safety.

After getting a TD on a blocked punt, Texas had their XP blocked, and aTm got a turnover in the end zone. They didn’t just down it, they tried to score their own 2-points by going 100 yards. When they got outside their end zone and then fumbled the ball back into it and were tackled in the end zone, Texas got the extremely rare 1-point safety to tie the game 13-13, and went on to win.

I looked it up, it was on the day after Thanksgiving in 2004.
