Texas A&M Aggies, aTm (official thread of jizz jars)

Gotta love the old "these teams are only mediocre/bad because they play in the SEC!" argument

Your Missouri/Ole Miss/Arkansas type teams would look no better playing in any other P5 conference

What's funny is in reality it's the complete opposite narrative. When the media is pumping up Auburn to be a quality opponent this year, you know the sec bias is strong

Yea I watched some of the A&M/Auburn game and heard about a million times that Auburn is "better than their record"

Naturally these same clowns will try to insist that Ohio State has beat no one. Even though they have wins over #7 and #15

For those that preach the SEC superiority, instead of turning a blind eye when the SEC schools schedule 1 bottom feeder in a Power 5 conference to meet the minimum SEC quota of 1 Power 5 nonconference game; why don't they demand that SEC teams schedule all 3 of their nonconference games with other Power 5 conference schools and prove it? Obviously the SEC teams would increase their SOS and get 3 more quality wins for their CFP committee resume....

SEC's new scheduling rules: Games against power conference schools required
04/27/2014
The conference announced its new scheduling policy on Sunday night, and while it was notable for keeping the conference-play portion of the season at eight games — there had been talk of a potential nine-game schedule, which the Big Ten is moving to in 2016 — the biggest news is a new provision that requires schools to play at least one game against a team from the ACC, Big 12, Big Ten or Pac-12. (Notre Dame, an independent, would also fulfill the requirement, as reported by national college football writer Bruce Feldman.)

** Only a requirement if the non-SEC-SEC-SEC conference team is a visitor. No away or neutral games mandated.

Texas return trip to BR was scheduled for this year, but Covid

@ UCLA in ‘21 - home in ‘24
@ Clemson in ‘25 - home in ‘26
@ OU in ‘27 - home in ‘28

stand alone home game with Army in ‘23

allegedly a home and home with Arizona St still in works to make up for series screwed up by Katrina.

Excellent. I do respect that it’s a H&H. Would respect it more if you came north of the Mason-Dixon Line in late October or November.

would love to.

if it was up to me and you, we could have LSU vs tOSU home and home.

Baton Rouge game in early September
Columbus game week before Thanksgiving

i’m in.

Last time y’all were up here I was in the stadium. You still managed to bring your weather that day. Rained like cats and dogs. But yeah, I’d be up for a home and home with you guys. Would love to see a game in BR.
