Texas 49, Tex A&M 39 (final)

Mack Brown, such a contrast to JT.

Passes on 1st down inside their 30 with around 3 minutes to go and a 10 point lead (though, it was a safe WR screen call).

Now, he's still running read options/QB keepers with McCoy. Just a minute or so left.

But to his credit, it ended the game without any doubt.

Likely another runner-up award, depending on how Ingram fares. But he did put on a show.
To add:

Ingram gets his chance to shine in a premier matchup tomorrow in the Iron Bowl (a very very good, hard-hitting rivalry), on slow day for sports following Thanksgiving. A 100 yard, 2 TD game in a win over Auburn will likely lock up the trophy for him.

Either way, it's a two-horse race and Tebow is in the rear-view mirror. That's all that matters. :osu:

I'm not sure if A&M's offense is really good or Texas's defense is overrated. I know one thing, if they had played Florida tonight it would have been ugly.

A&M was clicking tonight on offense, no doubt. But it was also a rivalry game, and they can be unpredictable. Another reason why I am glad Jim Tressel is our coach.

Did Colt just win himself the Heisman tonight????

I think he elevated himself to a solid top 2 for sure. If he lights it up against a tough defense like Nebraska's he could well seal the deal. Ingram is gonna have to respond in the Iron Bowl today.....it'll be interesting to watch that game.

A&M quarterback Jerrod Johnson had a phenomenal game. Many passes he completed against the Horns were very well defended, just thrown to the perfect spot. First time I've seen the kid, and he's obviously not this good all the time, but wow.
