He gets to start for the first time in the first quarter against the best team in the nation for the National title.

No pressure.

I thought the kid did well to bring them back, I think the Longhorns have good things to look forward to.

Seriously?

At least he used HIS OWN SCHOOLS MONIKER. That was in the middle of a game, when it was still a game. This was pointless, useless, and baseless. One top of that he takes the other teams moniker and flashes it down as if he did something. AT least Tebow had a PART in Florida winning that title. 'Bama could have won this game in the wildcat the whole time as soon as Colt went out.

Agree. I think Alabama was the better team. That said, it was complete shit for Saban not to take the knee.

BTW, do you remember Art Schlichter's disastrous first game? Safe to say he improved more than a little after that one.

Not saying Gilbert will ever be all that, just pointing out that a freshman's first game, especially against a tough defense, might be a bit early to say he "SUCKS" and dismiss him for good.

They are also chanting "S-E-C" because for the first time in the history of college football - one conference has won the MNC four years in a row.

Say what you want, that is pretty damn impressive....especially considering that the four-peat was earned during a period that is widely considered to be the era of the greatest parity in the history of college football.

I don't give a shit. When OSU won the National Title the last thing I was thinking of was how Michigan did the year before. Or that year. We just won the National Title. That was all I gave a shit about.

The incest that the SEC teams have with each other is stupid. ALABAMA WON, CONGRATS VANDY!!!
