Idk if it's weird, it's Desperate. They've been exposed in two straight seasons, and they keep reaching for straws on excuses. From "we just didn't play that hard" to "SEC is so tough that we're worn out by seasons end" to "the CFB playoff is unfair to the mighty SEC" to "the NFL draft distracted players", now their mighty recruiting seasons which should have them atop the CFB world now has them desperately trying to flip recruits which they thought would easily want to come to Bama
