Possible, but if he does end up at Bama I would say that's less of an issue. I'm going to go out on a limb and say they're stacked there as well.Sounds like a depth chart issue. He gone.

Jeremy Birmingham @Birm 53m53 minutes agoToo bad that his commitment most likely took us out of the Josh King running due to saving one spot for Bosa. I doubt King will be in play. Same goes for Auston Robertson. Although, I wonder if he would be back in play due to his good friend Austin Mack.
Edit: One last name that I'm not sure if this would do anything for is Prince Sammons. Not sure if they would take him though since he's hard to project at DE vs OT.
Edit 2: I also wouldn't be shocked if they shut down DE recruiting if they can't get one of the MSU guys. With Hubbard now at DE and Rashod Berry most likely making the move, with the other 2 DEs we have depth isn't an issue.
Will the #Buckeyes try to add another DE in Hall’s place? I’m told no - more in the Hurry Up at 745pm.
My crystal ball for Terrell Hall has flipped to #Bama and that’s where it will stay.
Hard to imagine anything more daunting than coming in with Bosa and Cooper.Best of luck. But the depth chart at Alabama is even more daunting than OSU. OSU will be just fine. And if Berry becomes a DE even better.
Maybe my imagination isn't very good, but you're really not suggesting that he was asking for money were you? If so...Not to be that guy, but it doesn't take a whole lot of imagination to figure out what he was doing during Friday Night Lights that alienated the OSU coaches to the point they won't even be pursuing him any more.
The OSU depth chart is a factor, Alabama hiring Aazaar Abdul-Rahim (DC area coach who Hall apparently has a close connection with) is a factor, but any time Ole Miss miraculously jumps into the mix the writing is kinda on the wall as to what else might be a factor in the recruitment.
I'm suggesting he was looking for a comparable experience as the one he found down south, or at least was extolling the virtues of southern trips to other players.Maybe my imagination isn't very good, but you're really not suggesting that he was asking for money were you? If so...

People are free to draw from that what they will.
Actually their depth chart looks much more favorable than ours, even though their base is a 3-4. They only had 13 DL listed on their roster and only 3 DE's. When Hall arrives Hand will be the youngest DE on the roster entering his Junior year and Hall probably already has a leg up on Kareem, the only other DE in the class. Honestly competition should never scare a recruit away, especially for as physically gifted as he is. I don't think this battle is over unless the staff chooses to stop pursuing. I just think the playing field is all even right now.Mind you, Alabama has SO Da'Shawn Hand at strong side DE (former #1 DE in country coming out of HS) and JR Johnathan Allen at weak side DE (former #1 OLB in country coming out of HS). He'll have as good, if not better, competition at Alabama as he would at Ohio State, so I think the competition aspect is a moot point. If he chooses there (or somewhere else), it was a better fit for him than Ohio State... period. Just feel like it's a shame Alabama was somehow able to get into his ear and negative recruit the crap out of us (gotta assume that took place, knowing the team, conference, and coaching staff), because he's going to be a special one at the next level. A QB's nightmare.
Good luck to Terrell on his decision. Still hope to see you in S&G someday, but if not, you were a class act and Buckeye Nation wishes you well.
