I heard the Raiders were in talks with him (seriously). I don't see Gruden as a college football coach, he may be a bit too intense for the youngins, especially if their last name is James.

Cutcliffe isn't coming back, and Fulmer's top recruiter, Trooper Taylor, is likely damaged goods given the NCAA investigation at Auburn. It's weird since, on one hand, Fulmer's teams from the mid-to-late 90s are why Tennessee fans think they're a national player, but on the other hand this is a team that cheated in everything from cleat length to Taylor's recruiting, and went in the toilet the day Cutcliffe and Taylor walked out the door. How quickly the fans forget that Fulmer -- without the two prodigal sons -- went 5-7 with a home loss to Wyoming in 2008.
