Tennessee's hundred dollar handshakes

Dear NCAA,

I've given a laundry list of reasons to come investigate the Vols for a myriad of booster problems. In fact I've even named a former player now having issues in the NFL who my friend bought a $300 dollar TV, apparently you are all as dumb as that player for not taking the $700 one. Thank you very much for your continued oversight.

I know what you are thinking. No one, and I mean no one would be that brash, arrogant, and flat out stupid to brag about illicit activities involving a football program on their own scout message board. Well you would be incorrect, I am that stupid in fact, you just happen to be dumber. Just so you all know, later in life I will be robbing the Chase bank on 7th street in Nashville and hiding the money under my mattress, but you won't be able to figure that out either.

Signed the arrogant prick,
Roy Adams

So, about those $100 handshakes...

Listen, until the entire situation with Mr. Bush, his Heisman trophy, his parents living in a $500,000 house on loan from an agent, and the money he was given in cash from the agent is resolved - I'd recommend not stirring the pot on NCAA gift allegations from other programs.

I wonder if Alabama fans feel the same conference loyalty towards Tennessee...

Hooker: Future of Vols can be damaged by booing
By Dave Hooker (Contact)

For those Tennessee football fans who wanted to have an impact on their program by booing the Vols in Neyland Stadium, congratulations on a job well done.

Josh Nunes, the 6-foot-3, 208-pound quarterback from Upland (Calif.) High School, proved such fan reaction has an effect on Wednesday when he all but said he'll be headed elsewhere to play his college football.

Despite public comments to the contrary, there's no question that Neyland Stadium boo-birds played a very significant role in Nunes' decision.

The Nunes family said travel was a concern. Partly, perhaps.

Sources close to UT's program said the Nunes family was concerned about boos they heard during a television broadcast of the UAB game on Sept. 13.

Reality check. The Vols won that game 35-3.

Cont'd ...

Read it again, the pot comes pre-stirred.
