TenneCheat VolunTears (but..but..but.. we're good at baseball)

I agree with what you are saying in some aspects. However, S. Carolina has good football in state and in surrounding areas (GA, TN, NC and playing in the SEC gives him decent access to FL as well to go along with his past history in that state.) Spurrier was at the state school and Clemson wasn’t Clemson at the time. He definitely could have done better. A CC shouldn’t have been too much to ask.
Spurrier is the only coach to ever bring them a division title in SEC play. Hell, they only ever won one ACC title in 1969 - they went 7-4 and lost to every ranked team they played, including to WVU in the Peach Bowl. They are a traditional doormat.

Feldman co-wrote Leach's Swing Your Sword, so you can guess his source. But hey, "the meeting went well" is different than "working on a contract." I'd like to think Leach is smart enough to avoid Knoxville after this debacle, and you gotta put legit fear into your employer if you want leverage for a raise.

I wonder what percentage of Leach's inevitable WSU raise Feldman is going to get?

Don't come here it's toxic...because people like me call potential coaches to undermine our AD.
