TenneCheat VolunTears (but..but..but.. we're good at baseball)

At this point, I'm kind of hoping they throw $50-60MM at Gruden and he half-asses his way to 3 wins a year for 2 or 3 years, knowing full well that he'll be back on MNF before Brady retires or the Browns are contenders.
Nah, it would be better for them to get some shit show coach so that they finally know their role. Also would be good if Schiano got a job in a couple years and did well....just to remind them that they ran off a good coach so that they could eat more shit.

Would be extra nice if he ends up in the SEC East in a couple of years and beats the shit out of them every year.

Patrick just railed on UT for this and a subsequent caller trying to justify what happened yesterday based on their claims of the PSU stuff. He brought up the Title 9 lawsuit they recently settled for student athlete rapes and asked where the outrage was. He told the caller to set aside the PSU stuff and just admit that Schiano wasn’t who they wanted.

It’s seems odd to me that they think Greg couldn’t be a good coach. I guess none of us have any idea as to whether he will ever be a great head coach again, but it’s really hard to deny that what he did at Rutgers was pretty incredible. I mean....RUTGERS.

His track record in college says he would be. It's just that Tenn fans are are so delusional about their place on the food chain that they think a Meyer type hire is their due.

Speaking of buyouts...

About 54 months remaining on his 5 year contract.

It would be funny to watch Tennessee kick themselves in the dick over what a comparable job is.

I mean, Tennessee is a top three institution in collegiate athletics with very few peers, right? There’s no way he could easily find a comparable job outside of a handful of ultra elite institutions.

Versus...

He turned down the Appalachian State job, we are totally comparable to Appalachian State, look how bad we are at everything... please let us keep our money.

I’ll be on MNF before the Browns are contenders.

@Jaxbuck's and Jessica Alba's as-yet unconceived (as far as I know) child will be graduating from college before the Browns are contenders.
