Ohio State recruiting: State Secrets - Lamont Wade, Marco Wilson to attend Friday Night Lights
The Buckeyes are still in the mix for one of the top wide outs in the class of 2017. Five-star receiver Tee Higgins of Oak Ridge High (TN) recently released his top 10 list via his Twitter page. Ohio State, Florida State, Alabama, Ole Miss, Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas A&M, North Carolina and LSU made the cut for the 6'4 175-pound play maker.

I would put him in the OFFER category, but like Jerry Jeudy, there's probably not much of a chance.

Coach Smith is doing work here, but I wouldn't get too excited...

Lindsey is not a wide out and have totally different measureables compared to the other three. He is more of a slot and H back to me.
Lindsey is a slot WR, still a wide out. An H back would also be taking handoffs and are usually former HS RBs(McCall, Wilson, Campbell, Samuel). Lindsey is a pure WR that can blow up a defense going right through the middle or on the perimeter

I'm definitely with you here. Lindsey is a pure receiver, which is new for our slots for the most part. You think of Jalin, Dontre, Campbell, etc. and most were at a different position and then converted. Lindsey can definitely take a handoff and be versatile, but he'll come in comfortable at the position.

As it relates to Tee, he'll be in if he wants in. He's definitely a wide out but even if we land Grimes, Lindsey, and DPJ (the first two are in, highly doubtful on DPJ at the moment), we would find room. We're going to have to be extremely selective at the position but Higgins is an elite talent that you always find room for.

I agree with you on everything, all 4 are takes but with the size of this years class the number will stop at the 1st 3 in. And may not even get to 3 combined with last years WR class. The staff probably already has their mind made up at the number they want but won't stop recruiting all of them until that number is reached. Meyer has always done a great job of recruiting well balanced classes and not over loading positions. Cant wait to see how this class closes.
