I can't recall the specific rules of departure, but does this mean that BKB owe's us a thesis? Or since this was more of a "you had me at goodbye" sort of thing, does that mean he is exempt from writing the thesis?

Can we get an official ruling on this matter (that is, of course, if we had official rulings, which we don't)?
