TE Nic DiLillo (official thread)

Tressel's blessing:

Madison senior center Nic DiLillo said he is playing basketball with approval of Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel, who recruited DiLillo to play tight end.

"I thought at first I wasn't going to play basketball because I didn't really know how the [OSU] coaches felt," DiLillo said. "I called Coach Tressel and he said, 'I just want you to compete all the time.' I was very happy to hear that."

Wish I'd known about this before reading it in the paper this morning, would have loved to take my son down the road to meet Coach Tressel.

This must have been a huge treat for Nic. There isn't a kid in this entire class that wants to be a Buckeye any more than Nic does.
