i have a few friends that talk to kyle and i have heard that he really likes tOSU and Notre Dame best so far... thats what i've heard

You're about 5 months late with that info...we had Kyle pegged as an ND/OSU battle back in September.

With 3 quality TEs in Ohio this year, I was wondering what qualities Rudolph has to offer over Stoneburner and Moore. From my viewpoint all share the same basic height and weight but Stoneburner and Moore are 2 tenths faster. I have seen Moore and Stoneburners videos but not Rudolphs. I don't really see any reason why one of the other 2 isn't offered. Gotta love the way Stoneburner goes up and gets the ball. Is he able to stretch the field like the other 2?

I couldn't imagine how many dinners Matta would have to buy Tressel if both Rudolph and Pryor came in to be two sport athletes.

Two top notch basketball recruits without using one scholarship....Matta would be in debt for awhile

You are basing who should get an offer on height and weight and 40 times listed on Internet recruiting sites and maybe a few video clips from Scouting Ohio ar wherever? The OSU staff has seen all three in person and on film more times than any of us put together. Is Kyle able to stretch the field? Probably better than any other TE in the state. Kyle probably has the most potential of the three and is a better blocker at this stage than Stoneburner. Jake could end up at WR instead of TE. DiLillo lacks some of the athleticism the other two have. Moore is another great prospect who I would probably say is the closets to Rudolph as far as pure TE talent goes in Ohio. I don't think it is fair to lump Jake and Kyle into the same category at this point...Jake is faster but Kyle has the frame to be an OSU-sized TE.

Kyle has that jump ball ability that would be a great assest for the offense in the redzone.

I also think he is the best offer of the 3 and honestly I think he is the best TE in the country, from the guys that I have checked out their film...

With that said I really like Moore and Stoneburner and wouldnt mind if he can bring one of them in as well, as they could be the guy we split out wide and match up against a S or LB and that is a cake matchup for us...

Two guys the caliber of these 3 on the field would be really tough for teams to defend...

I'm in the same boat with you. Either Rudolph or Ayles is the best TE in the country...and I may give the nod to Rudolph just because of his height and frame. Ayles is probably a bigger deep threat though. Anyways, Kyle is obviously the best TE in Ohio after watching his film a couple days back. Moore has great potential but man oh man can Rudolph steal that ball from the defenders. He has amazing hands for a guy that big, he makes tough catches in traffic, and he is a good blocker and is more than willing to do it(which is why I would take him over Ayles). Does that mean Moore isn't good? Heck no and he could earn an offer as well. Stoneburner I think is either a WR or a flex-TE in the mold of what Iowa and Wisconsin use.

I'd offer both Moore and Stoneburner. Both are OSU-calibur, IMO, and both are pretty versatile: Moore could be a monster DE if he wants to be, and Stoneburner could be a big WR if he can't block or put on enough weight for TE.

I wasnt that impressed with Ayles he is only 6'4'' which doesnt make him near the jump ball threat that Rudolph is and while he listed a 4.5 40 he looked lumbering when he was running...
