TE Jeff Heuerman (National Champion)

Well.....Barron Collier needs someone to throw Jeff the ball. They have a really young, really short kid playing qb.
South Ft. Myers had two DT that probably went 270-280 and then rotated a kid in that was a little bit smaller. The qb for Barron was running for his life.

Jeff had a great grab in the 1st q. They flex him out, he plays the trad. TE and he even splits way out.

However, he also plays DE and was a monster tonight. He was probably held about 5-6 times tonight...He had some nice moves one on one and was constantly getting pressure. Jeff's dad is 6'9 and he has two little brothers....

One coach(video guy that was on older staff) told me that the youngest may be the most athletic of them all...but I have no idea how old he is.

The Watkins kid is sick....sick.....he deserves his ranking.....he was amazing.

Back to Jeff.....he is very athletic and will be frustrated in this offense with the qb that they have. But he will be a great one....he loves to mix it up and hit people....on both sides of the ball. We got a good one.

Barron Collier's best chance for a first-half score came late in the first quarter when Gomez's punt hit Crawford on the leg, and Joey Lohmann recovered on the Wolfpack 19. Gomez hit Jeff Heuerman for 14 yards on first down, but Barron Collier had just four yards on three carries, setting up a fourth-and-goal from the 1.

Heuerman had 2 catches for 21 yards in the loss.
