TE Cade Stover (Houston Texans)

Cade is awesome. However, he needs to spend some time with Hartline on blocking and ball safety. Once he tightens those up his draft stock will climb and climb.

Yeah his blocking has been really suspect so far, though he is a force in the passing game. Hopefully we see improvement in that area soon.
Ever tried to block a smaller, faster guy while trying to outrun a smaller faster guy 10 yards from your starting point? I can tell you from experience, it is not easy and timing is a bigger part of it than ability. That said, yeah we need to get better

I was always the smaller, faster guy but yeah it isn't easy. But I am sure the offensive coaching staff (and Cade himself) expects him to do better on those plays than he currently is. He has the physical tools and demeanor to get it done, so I would just think it is a watching the film and coaching fix.

No, but I did talk a midget into letting me see how far I could chuck him once. Didn’t come anywhere near 10 yards.
