I've gone and have had them done at a retail location a few times and also I have done them with Turbo Tax twice. This year though I'm sending them to a CPA with all the company taxes. He's doing mine for free since he's doing the companies

Software. Having worked for one of the major companies for a while, I can zip through a return with Ginnlike velocity.

It's worth the cost for the speed, immediate electronic submission, year-to-year recordkeeping, and the rebate when I upgrade my money management program every other year.

I do them myself, but I do them part time professionally, so I use the resources at that office.

Ditto.

Used Dunphy, but they stopped making it. Switching to Lacerte, if the dopes ever figure out how to convert our data properly.

Actually I'd be stupid not to do them since I get almost everything back most years anyway.

Fucking Adam West and all his dirty little loopholes............

FWIW, what tax software do you guys recommend? I've got a pretty standard setup, so I won't need anything fancy.......
