Walked over to HR to drop off a 2016 W-4 to adjust for changes in our income and dependents, when HR says, 'Oh hey, I've got this W-2c for you ... our accountants noticed that Great Plains didn't report employer contributions on HSAs at all.' Swell. All this to find out three boxes on our 8889 change and it's still all zeroed out in the end.

As long as you have the bottom section of 8889 filled out with the distributions, I wouldn't worry about amending.
