T & A everywhere, nowhere, or only somewhere?

With what seems to be a consensus, I too think avatars should be PG-13 and frankly, I haven't seen an avatar here that violates this.

As for sigs, well I fall on the side of turn them off if you don't like them or if it may cause problems at work. That is such an easy solution. I do think it is a good idea if there are no sigs at all in the football and recruiting forum if for no other reason than a speedier load time. In addition to that, I agree with LJB's comment about a certain level of professionalism/class being exhibited in those two areas by having no sigs at all there.

As if Newbies can follow most of the threads in the open forum now with everything showing. I've been around here a long time and read the open forums almost daily and there are times I can't follow what is being said....especially when they are hijacked by the paintchippers.

Paintchippers? I am sure, sir, that I have no idea as to what you are referencing. I, however, am intent on the subject of this particular thread, as always, so I will choose not to pursue my curiosity about this alleged group of fascinating people.

I'm with FKA.... never heard of these "paintchippers" you speak of. Sounds like an interesting group, if there is such a thing... I've been around long enough to know there is not.

Sorry for almost hijacking, as it's not my style to do so. Just had my interest peeked by this strange reference.

But take your time :biggrin:

I generally turn off sigs at work - obvious reasons - plus for some unknown reason Mr. I's big 'n' bouncy sig causes the browser at work to stall on screen and you cannot get past his posts.

Sheer unadulterated misery though that is not, it gives me a technical rationale for depriving my eyes of some candy.

Till a conditional code is up and running I reckon the turn 'em on ' turn 'em off switch in User CP is as good an option as any.
