Super Bowl XL - Steelers vs. Seahawks

Is Ben Roethesberger not turning into one of the best QBs in the NFL? He's been unreal during these playoffs. And this is only his 2nd year in the league.

22-3 as a starter in the regular season...and now 4-1 as a playoff QB. He's gotten his team to the AFC Championship, and now to the Super Bowl.

Last year he struggled a little in the playoffs...but he was a rookie...but boy did the experience seem to pay off, cuz he is on FIRE this year. A QB rating of 124.8 in the playoffs. If he keeps it up in the Super Bowl...this may be one of the greatest playoff runs a QB has ever had.

he has really started to prove the haters wrong, who said he couldn't do well if he was being forced to pass all of the time.

BTW... Roethlisberger

Well, they did catch the ball almost every time Delhomie threw it to them. And they really did a nice job of stopping that future HOF'er Jamal Robertson...or whatever his name was.
I understand what you're saying, however to me that's just another case of the Seahawks not getting credit. I guess they were just handed the last 12 games and a trip to the Super Bowl. This team plays excellent team football and deserves to be there.

They beat the Giants and the Colts, which are 2 fairly good wins. Although the Colts had nothing to play for when they played Seattle, so instead of Manning, they saw Jim Sorgi all game.

Their conference was a joke, here are the final standings:

NFC West Standings
W-L-T PF PA
z-Seattle 13-3-0 452 271
St. Louis 6-10-0 363 429
Arizona 5-11-0 311 387
San Francisco 4-12-0 239 428

They are a good team, but would not have even made the playoffs if they were still in the AFC. Call it disrespect if you want, but that's my opinion.

Actually, after years of being the pit of the NFL, the AFC North is looking very bright for the future. Roethlisberger and Palmer will have a lot of good battles over the next 8-10 years. Crennell has the Browns heading in the right direction and Baltimore sucks. Life is good.

I respect your opinion. This is what it has been all year for the Seahawks though, IMO. It's always "shitty conference" or "there opponet underperformed". NFC West is a joke, you're right. I just don't think you can hold that against the Seahawks. I look forward to the Super Bowl in the hope that more doubters will see that the Seattle Seahawks are actually a great team.

I think the Steelers will win. But I am a Steelers fan. I do think Seatle is a great team this year. Shitty conference or no- the fact remains that they won. They won when they were supposed to and when they weren't. The reason the games are played is to see who wins in a real battle, not just a paper match-up. I think it will be a close game, but the Steelers pull it out- despite their tendency to try to give games away in the second half. As long as Maddox doesn't start or get anywhere near the football, we should get the W.

It will be a helluva game and regardless of the outcome, I hope afterwards people think "Well I must admit, the Seahawks are better than I first thought."
