lol ur funny

If it was the other way around and Roethlisberger got flagged for "clipping" a Seattle DB or Hines Ward had a TD called back because he "pushed off", BuckNutty, iambrutus, AJHawkFan, and co. would be up in arms saying how Pittsburgh got screwed. It's easy to accuse people of whining about a loss when you're a fan of the winning side.

Listen tough guy, you don't know me any more than I know you. In all my years of playing football and rooting for my favorite teams I've never once blamed the refs for a loss. Funny how fans and people like you like to whine but people that actually played in the game made no excuses. Here is what Matt Hasselbeck had to say about the game:

"Honestly, we're going to be OK, we're going to get over this game," Hasselbeck said. "Hey, we had an opportunity to play better and to be world champs. We didn’t play well enough to be world champs and we all know that. People will make excuses, saying, 'They got you on a trick play,' or, 'The officials called that and it looked like something else.' As players, we're not going to make that excuse. Our excuse is we didn’t play well enough, period."

You obviously struggle with reading comprehension. I''ve clearly stated I watch one game a year, the Superbowl.

And I never said all games are fixed. I said that one was.

Its not a comprehension problem, its a credibility problem. I think your completely full of shit.

Like I said, I don't believe you only watch one game a year(you don't) but I do believe that you honestly think the SB was fixed.

Therefore the point I made many pages back, and you never answered, still remains. Why would anyone with an IQ of over 50 watch, care and post about a game(or games) they honestly think are fixed?

Its like getting pissed and posting for a week about the bad guy winning a pro wresteling match.

I grew up in Washington and am a Seahawks fan. Just like you hate it when others generalize about Buckeye fans, don't generalize about Seahawk fans. I realize the game is over and nothing is going to change. Like I said earlier, it's unfortunate that there is any kind of controversy. It's not the easiest thing to swallow when your team makes it to the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history and some wrong calls are made. By no means do I believe it cost them the game, Steelers played the better game and deserved the win. All I'm saying is quit bashing Seahawks fans as a whole. Congrats Steeler nation.

Good post, well said. We shouldn't generalize a group of fans because of the actions of a few. We all know how sports fans get, even ourselves at times.
While I am a Steeler fan...or a fan of the Bus mostly considering I have ties to ND, in no way do I think Steelers played a great game in the Super Bowl, and neither did the Seahawks at times. I imagine if the Steelers were playing the Colts again that day, the Steelers would have lost. It certainly is true that the Seahawks got screwed on a few calls, maybe enough to make up 11 points for a tie, maybe not. It happens to the best teams, theres only so many refs to watch over 22 guys...and even with replay you don't see everything sometimes. Both teams had some hard battles through the playoffs, and it was good to see the Seahawks finally get there. Many teams falter the first time they get there, Cowher's first team is an example. I imagine, especially with the way the NFC shaped up this year, the Seahawks will have a good chance to be back there next year. Having a good coach like Holmgren helps a lot too.
