Not a bad penalty. You get extra help on defense drain eight seconds and only give up five yards.

Yup. 5 yards for 9 seconds.

Love it.
I was about to post about this type of thing creeping its way into a normal gameplan.

woofer got to it first. Interesting.

Very smart call to force the hail mary.
I would not put it past NFL coaches. These guys look for any advantage (as they should).

I think Manning's throw was the best part about Manningham's big play. That throw was fucking ridiculous. As on-point as it gets. That was actually excellent coverage. It was a fantastic catch for sure.. but that throw is getting overlooked.

Manning deserved it. Not even close.

That's what I kept talking about with everyone I was with.

What a small window- between the corner underneath, the safety over the top, and the sideline out of bounds. That thing was floated (ok, a fast float) in there PERFECTLY. One of the best throws I've seen in recent memory.

New England still hasn't won a Super Bowl since Spygate.

There has to be Karma somewhere (Spygate in 2007 and last championship was 2004).

Or is "Schematic Advantage" that good of a coordinator, that New England can't win w/o him

Not having a defense hurt them, though they played above themselves for three quarters.

That seems like a total fuck up by either the ref, or the way the rules are stated. How does 9 seconds run off on a dead ball, before the snap penalty on the defense, in the fourth, with under 2 min. Not to mention the 2 seconds that just kind of ran off the play before.

This in general has been maybe the most blah football season I can remember in a long time. Congrats to the giants..or more like congrats to the former BUCKEYES on the giants.

COME ON SPRING GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:io:

Good game all around, not as much fun as their first matchup but entertaining just the same.

Obviously if Big Gronk is 100% this is probably a different outcome, but you have to play the hand you're dealt.

I wonder if anyone else shares my perspective on the GoDaddy commercials and mentions that maybe Danica Patrick should concentrate on winning a "GD" NASCAR or INDY race (one with a full complement of drivers).

Even Trevor Bayne has won a race (w/ a full line-up of drivers).

If they're willing to pony up the cash I have no problem with her taking it.
