Somebody started a "Coach of the Year: Weis or Ferentz" thread over on jjhuddle...hahahaha

The Rivals site is pretty fun right now. Multiple "Fire Weiss" threads.

Re: When Notre Dame signed football coach Charlie Weis to a 10-year contract extension midway through his first season in 2005. The contract, which went into effect for the current season, effectively binds Weis to the Irish through 2015.

I'm sure that if ND is patient and just gives Charlie Weis 9 more years, he should be able to "turn the program around" by 2015.

On the brighter side, since Weis is under contract to ND through 2015; that means ND could go another 9 years without winning a bowl game.

:slappy:

I would love to hear from knowledgable ND fans really think of the domers right now and what direction they see this program heading. Im sure most will blame NDs problems on Tys lack of recruiting, saying that he left Weiss with undersized and slow defensive players.

The NoD scout site has deleted every post basically from 30 minutes before the game started along with all threads/posts predicting a NoD victory. Sad yet hilarious.

It is truly pathetic when you cannot actually face the music, it is in a curious kind of fashion unchristian - putting your head in the sand instead of turning the other cheek.

Oh, what the hell, I'll call it what it is, spineless. Those admins and mods should be fired from the Scout network. Closing down the board is one thing, a cooling off period, moderately defensible. Locking threads might be well understood, it happens everywhere in what is the Bboard blogosphere. Deliberate erasure of the full exchange between LSU fans and ND posters around the game is cowardly revisionism.

Looking at their board this morning it truly is as if this game never happened, the blown Fake Punt was nothing but a bad dream, no beatdown in New Orleans. It was all a mirage. What a wonderful fantasy world those fellows inhabit.

Yeah, but how much longer can they use that excuse? not much if you ask me.

Also, a good coach would show some improvement from year 1 to year 2. Give em a tough camp etc. ND has to have better recruits than Boise.

And if the so call offensive genius has any brain in him...then he would use his offense to keep the D off field more. oh wait ND's Offense isn't that good either.

Weiss has landed a pretty solid recruiting class for next year, so I'd guess he has at least 1-2 more years to turn this thing around before they bring out the Guillotine.

"We're shutting down the board temporarily to give everyone a chance to cool off. We don't feel there is anything worthwhile being posted at this time. Come back later."
- Frank and Kyle

Which really means that they are taking their ball and going home...whiners.

87 teams have won a bowl game since ND last won one...

If these dumbasses would quit deluding themselves every year, they wouldn't have to do shit like that.

The first time I really watched LSU for more than a quarter this year but Jamarcus Russell has probably the best arm since Randall Cunningham.

He threw a ball while scrambling off of his back foot over 40 yards in the air and it looked like he barely even threw it.
