Sugar Bowl - LSU 41, Notre Dame 14 (Final, Jan. 3, 2007)

I thought you had to have control of the ball as in in your hands for it to count, but I could be wrong.

But if it never touches the ground, and no part of the player's body is out of bounds, then it's still a live ball. He had posession, ultimately, without ever letting the ball touch the ground. Hence, it should have been a pick.

Water under the bridge, though. Or in this case, water over the dam.

provided that the result of the game ends up as it should, weis is going to have some fun questions to answer.

1. coach, why in bleepin' bleep would you call a fake punt from your own 30 during the first possession of the game?

2. coach, don't you know the bleepin' bleep rules?

Ya know, I have come to one conclusion while watching this game. No wait, 2 concluisions, but the second one is only a possibility.

1. Both these teams suck, and the Bucks would smoke them.

2. LSU really played Florida well in their game this year, and really shoulda won it......Hence:

LSU speed? They look slower than shit to me.
