Sugar Bowl: Georgia 41, Hawaii 10 (final)

Most of the BCS games have been stinkers the last few years. A ten point win for Georgia would actually be a close game compared to some of the other outcomes in recent BCS games (last year's Fiesta Bowl notwithstanding). I don't see this one being too different. Hawaii's passing attack gives them a puncher's chance I guess, but they seem to consistently struggle when playing on the mainland - and those games are against opponents that are nowhere near the caliber of Georgia.

Serious Question...

Lets say Hawaii comes out and does what they've been doing and beats Georgia by 10 points tonight. Would they deserve a share of the national title as an undefeated team winning a BCS game?

My honest and unbiased opinion would be yes. They played their schedule and won every game including a few BCS teams along the way and won a major BCS bowl game against arguably the best SEC school right now. Now, this may all be moot if they lose as expected, but what if they win?

Seriously - No.

Their schedule does not grant them the right to have a number 1 spot - not even if they were to hand it to Georgia.
