I have no problem with your opinion, just curious of why your opinion was totally different than what most have said about him...
Are these guys receiving interest from colleges?
Here is the thing you aren't getting....
You were not at the game nor have you seen Collaros or McGhee play this season. EVERYONE that I have talked to (including Canton South fans) have said that Zach Collaros was by far the best player on the field. It isn't as if it was just because Big Red was a "better team". Zach was on an island with Devon for the majority of the first 3 quarters. Devon had 2 catches... one was for 8 yards (he was immediately tackled by Zach). The second one was a lucky tip that landed in the arms of Devon, somehow. There was NO ONE between Devon and the endzone and Zach RAN HIM DOWN FROM BEHIND.
Tamawi made Devoe look foolish on many of his runs, though Tamawi still isn't even close to 100% (he had to come out of the game early in the 3rd quarter after having averaged 10 yards a carry).
The Torrence brothers are good, no doubt. However, I think Collaros and McGhee completely outshined them.
If BIG TIME schools aren't recruiting both Tamawi McGhee and Zach Collaros, they are insane. Zach was locking down one of the best receivers in the state, any division and still tearing up Canton South from his QB position... it was a clinic and, to me, it should show some DI schools that Zach can play well on any level.
FYI, Tamawi McGhee was offered a full ride by Toledo before the season, but I would be shocked if he didn't end up in the Big East or Big 10.
Zach has received offers from all of the MAC schools, I think. You also have to take into consideration that he is also a phenomenal baseball player. Kent State offered him for both football and baseball.
