New Antibodies to HIV Found - WSJ.com
An international team of researchers has discovered a pair of powerful new antibodies to HIV, providing fresh leads in the quest for a vaccine against AIDS.
The two HIV antibodies, reported in a study to appear in the journal Science on Friday, are the first of their kind to have been identified in more than a decade. They are "broadly neutralizing," which means they can target most of the many thousands of HIV strains.

Never gonna see a cure - of course you'll get these "breakthrough's" once a decade, makes you actually feel like they might be trying to something right.

Technically there is a cure, one man has already experienced it.

The problem is that it won't work for everyone, and its very expensive. You have to be a match for the guy thats immune, and you need a sample of his bone marrow, think that was part of the first article.
