I never realized how truly amazing John Madden is at simplifying his color commentating for the less intelligent football fan. He gets straight to the point, keeps comments short, and makes points that intelligent football fans can enjoy.

A sis in law from Bellevue called and said all the lights are out in Marion and Bellevue due to winds gusting up to 75 or 90 MPH trees down all over.
that might have something to do with the game

Ugh. DA throws a quacker that's picked. Shades of the Bungles game last December. I know it's a small sample size and today is hardly ideal conditions, but I'm not crazy about what I've seen from DA thus far...

It's almost amazing to me how much I hate the Pittsburgh Steelers considering I grew up less than 40 miles from Pittsburgh during the 1970s. I never felt any connection to that team or its fans. I've never seen anything that would make me want to be part of them. I truly hate everything about them. I want them to lose every game, every year.
