Absolutely not. See Tim Couch for why that's a bad idea. See Carson Palmer and Phillip Rivers for reasons to keep him on the sideline. Quinn is not gonna help this team get to the playoffs this year, so no use throwing him in the fire.

Why get Quinn killed on a team that is only going to win 2-3 with him? Better to let him learn the speed and complexity of the game on the sideline instead of having him run for his life on every play.....

Yeah but Palmer and Rivers were behind Kitna and Brees. They actually learned from good QB's. I doubt Quinn can learn much from these two.

So who would you like to see drafted (this early into CFB and NFL...) ? DMac would be the obvious choice, but Barber seems pretty good too.




Caught the Crennel interview on NFLN -- they referred to Brady as "The Kid" through the entire thing. Crennel echoed the "lamb to the slaughter" sentiment.
I really like Crennel as a person ... but he never strikes me as Head Coach material. He has no real sense of command in my opinion... nothing like when I see Lovie Smith, Dungy, or even the like of Tressel.


And for sushichic -- I don't really root for them anymore. I just hope to wait it out. I actually went and poured myself a drink when I saw Santonio had the nice run-and-catch TD. Then I flipped over to the Broncos game and watched Buffalo choke -- Youboty didn't look too bad from the part I saw. His receiver made a key catch, but I thought it was well thrown and he had really good coverage. (The more I watch NFL games, the more I'm convinced Cutler is the best QB of the big-3 in that draft.)
