I still have to watch the last one (episode 12) tonight, and there are a lot of story arcs to try and tie up in 42 minutes or so, so I'm interested to see how that all turns out and how it leads into Rogue One, which I'll probably watch again this weekend.
They really made some interesting decisions in this season, and in general. One is the rise of LH's prominence as the prime (young, besides Mon Mothma) female character...in season 1, it was really Vel, but she's been reduced to a bit part this season, other than tying up her love story with Cinta. I really like LH obviously, I think everyone does, and I hope her career takes off after this series. I like the actress who plays Vel too, I've seen her in plenty of other stuff, so I was a bit disappointed we didn't get more from her in S2. The rant she had against the French frat boy didn't really lead anywhere either, which I thought was too bad...they could have done more with that.
Andor has been back, but still isn't the primary focus of any of season 2. It's been Mon...and Syrill...and Meero...and LH/Luthen. Even Krennic at times. But not him. Which has been OK, except for the fact I thought he was wasted in the weakest (and probably only) terrible arc in season 2, using the bunch of useless goofs to introduce Yavin. I assume he will play a big role in episode 12, as he will have to lead into Rogue 1.
I too would love a Saw Guerrera series, but I don't know that Disney will ever be willing to push a drug-addled murdering anarchist as the lead character in a series. I think he's probably by far the most interesting though. He, the Mandalorian Armoress, Thrawn...some characters just leave you wanting more.
