Star Wars (May the Force be with you)

Super excited for the Obi-Wan series, though Christensen returning as Darth Vader has me scratching my head. I suppose there may be a lot of flashbacks to the period between Ep. II and III, and moments between scenes in III, otherwise, what's the point of him being in it. Couldn't care less about the Cassian Andor series at the moment, although I'll still watch it.

'The Mandalorian' is the best thing 'Star Wars' related since 'The Empire Strikes Back.' Fight me.
Actually you know its good because of the vast super moronic fansided level idiot theories between episodes.

Like, some fuckwaddicknut is like "theory! Mando takes over slave one after boba fett gets killed!"

Yeah dipshit. The resurrected boba fett from the fucking sarlac to kill him in 2 episodes of this

I generally avoid that nonsense. I wouldn't call myself a Star Wars geek by any stretch, but being a child of the early-mid 80s, Star Wars was a huge part of my elementary/middle school years. I had the Kenner Toys (wish I kept the fucking things, they're worth buckets of money now). I saw "Return of the Jedi' in theatres and loved when the movies were broadcast on network tv. One of the best things about 'The Mandalorian' is the nostalgia factor it brings. It feels like it belongs beside Eps 4-6. And all of the cameos and nods to that trilogy are great. I marked out like an 8 year old when they teased Boba Fett is Season 1 and did so even harder when he put on his beskar a couple of weeks ago.

No,.its all cool.

My parents took me to see jedi opening night and you just waited in line back then... If there was a seat you got it. 3-4 hours. Not overnight but, a long time for a 10 year old,.plus the movie plus a 90 minute ride home.

Empire we saw in a real silent film theater the second week and I remember my dad pleading with me mom to take 5 yr old me to see a new hope.

All of which is to say, i feel you

When I saw the green lightsaber I yelled “No way!” And then when R2 rolled in I might have screamed a bit.

This season finale brought all the goods, and I can’t wait for what they teased at the end.

I screamed SHUT UP as soon as I realized who it was and my 8 year old ran downstairs to see what was wrong ha!
