Wow so Han was the villain all along. I'm glad he finally got what was coming to him after all these years.

Maybe the stand alone movie will show how he started down the path to the Dark Side.

I've been waiting for the trailer of this film to come out since I left the theater after watching The Force Awakens. Was a bit disappointed that they didn't reveal Vader in it--he has to be in it, even if it is just for the final battle, since it takes place right before A New Hope. However, I did get chills from the seen where the AT-AT walkers are on the beach. From what I have heard, this film will be told as a war movie; which if true, I'm hoping it is a Dirty Dozen take on Star Wars.

It's been a great week for Star Wars fans with the trailer for Rouge One .....

Just for the record Rogue Leader was Luke Skywalker, Rogue 2 was Zev Senesca, Rogue 3 was Wedge Antilles, Rogue 4 was Derek Klivian etc etc.

No idea why they are re-casting the same characters from Force Awaken in this one.

I saw where one of the inspirations was Saving Private Ryan, which I think really shows on glimpse of the AT-AT beach scene. And I tend to agree that Vader has to play a part, even if it's only at the end. I would watch the crap out of Star Wars: The Dirty Dozen, so that's my...new hope for this movie.

(Incidentally, everytime I see that scene on Hoth with Zev, its like "Is that Jon Favreau?")

I'll have to watch it again properly. I watched on my phone on a questionable 2/3G connection as YouTube is blocked at work and on our work WiFi and I'm lucky to get any reception in my office.

I'm not sure. I thought so at first, but it looks like a hooded individual rather than iconic helmet....I could be wrong though.
