At least he's a good sport about it. At his age, he's just lucky it wasn't a hip.

You are technically correct, though I choose to view it in the sense that when someone asks me how far I am from Columbus, I usually answer about 7 1/2 hours. Time is always paramount to distance.

See I understand it when someone says they are 7 1/2 hours away from something. But Lucas wrote it up in the opposite way. He uses a distance as a time measurement to describe something related to a distance.

It's just one of the many reasons why he's extremely lucky the 1st three movies took off like they did and launched the franchise, because that's a Star Wars Prequel level gaffe or at least it is to me

Well, you're not wrong. I mean, a Parsec is like 19 trillion miles or something, which is like 3 1/2 light years, but when you get in to theoretical physics, the references to those distances and times are all relative.

Yeah, well, the problem with your flippant retort, therein, lies in the idea of a warp drive, and in that if you are bending space/time on this side of the dimension, what repurcussions does it have on another, or many others? So there. (you do realize this is a supurfluous argument, Right?) But, one that needs to be defended solely on what we know to be scientific principles(which are gonna turnout to be BullShit. Right?)

OK fuck it. Give me the Millennium Falcon, and I could do the Kessel run in 13 Parsecs. 12 if I'm not hung over. Saw...you're Chewy. We're gonna do this thing.

So what you're saying is, everyone does the Kessel run in 12 parsecs?

Harrison Ford broke leg in 'Star Wars' set mishap, publicist says

Harrison Ford suffered a broken leg, not an injured ankle as the studio previously said, on the "Star Wars" set last week, his publicist said Thursday.

"Harrison Ford's left leg was broken in an accident," spokeswoman Ina Treciokas said in a statement to CNN.

She didn't say how long the actor would be out of work, but he is apparently on the road to recovery.

"His surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly," Treciokas said. "He's doing well and looks forward to returning to work."

Ford, 71, was filming for "Star Wars: Episode VII" at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England. He is reprising the Han Solo role that brought him fame in the first "Star Wars" in 1977.

"Episode VII" is scheduled to be released on December 18, 2015.
