Stanley Cup Final: Detroit vs. Pittsburgh

Nothing beats playoff sudden death hockey. Then again, hockey loses something (casual viewers for example) with the never ending OTs sometimes. The play is really starting to look sluggish.

I couldn't give a rat's ass who wins this game, but I'm mesmerized. Agree Tibor, there is absolutely nothing in the world that rivals a hockey game that actually means SOMETHING as far as intensity, and there's nothing really close.

Peace.

my first year of school i roomed with a big penguin fan during the 6 (?) OT game against philly. that night was awesome.

Haha, I can imagine. My roommate is probably pissed. Finals tomorrow and I'm making more noise than Joe Louis Arena.

They've gotta finish this soon, I think. The longer it goes, the more it favors the Pens. Wings are using up all they've got.

I don't know about that....if Gonchar is really and truly hurt, and I had to think he is otherwise he'd be out there, Pittsburgh has 5 very very very tired defensemen right now.......

Not to mention that if Thompson gets hit in the ear it may explode... wait... wrong sport. I meant I want to see the winner before I go to sleep :)

True, Just seems to me you've got some old legs out there for Detroit and they've gotta give pretty soon...

On the other hand, I'm really just assuming Pitt's younger, I haven't really looked.

all in all, it's relatively even.....Pittsburgh's stars are mostly younger, but it's not like everyone is as old as Chelios on the Wings....

The oldest players for the Wings are Drake, Osgood and Lidstrom.....and Lidstrom never seems to get tired......
