Stanford +6.5 at Oregon (ov/un 65.5) 8 ET ESPN

Stanford is now getting ABUSED in the 2nd half.

I think they got roped into playing Oregon football, which you cannot do. Shoulda stuck to taking their time, pounding it out, and eating up clock. Why hasn't anyone taken note to how we handled Oregon last year?

Well to be fair.....how many teams have the talent and coaching that Ohio State has on defense?

I'm not saying they'd stop them as well as us. But moreso use the same tempo and style we did. Take your time, try and eat up clock and don't try and play a shootout with them. Once they catch rhythm they are tough to stop.

I also just giggle everytime I watch Oregon highlights with WR's running wide open without a DB within 20 yards. Seriously, wtf?

I don't think that's it at all. From my vantage point it looked like Oregon's D turned it up a notch and simply stopped them. The key play in this game was when they knocked Owusu out and took that fumble inside the 5. That was a HUGE momentum swing.
