Spring Weight Loss Drive

Looking for some helpful suggestions from my BP brothers and sisters! I'd really like to drop 25-30 pounds. Late 60s, COPD, Heart issues, Apnea and a torched back that creates severe sciatica ( not ready to let anybody carve in to my lower back ). I'm aware the extra weight is contributing to those issues. "The gym" really isn't an option for me. I want to start with diet. I eat like crap. Even though I'm retired I still work part time ( 25-30 hrs a week) in a fairly physical occupation. Looking for suggestions on changing my diet to something healthy that is also affordable, and exercises that will help with my broken down body. Tired of feeling like crap all the time.

Lots and lots of veggies!!! Shop around the outside of the stores. Plan on going to the store more than once a week.

And good carbs can be fine, like sweet potatoes and brown rice. But like everything - moderation.

I don't do it, even though I should, but yoga is a great exercise that I do not believe puts a lot of wear and tear on the body.

And give yourself time. The weight didn't get added overnight so don't expect it to come off in a day or two.

Not expecting anything to happen overnight! Just gotta start someplace.

If you did just veggies and turkey for a week you'd drop at least 5..
My problem is... I'm only good with temptation when it doesn't exist
As long as the others in this household have great (and horrible for me) stuff hanging around.. I can't resist... It's my addiction
Works when everyone in the house is on the same song sheet
