Spring Practice Tidbits

We're not losing more than 1 game.

I too feel much better about the prospects of this team after this spring. In fact, I cannot remember the last time I felt this good about the long-term future of a team coming out of the spring (including 2006). I think it may be a little bit of a stretch to be so sure that they will not lose more than one game. If I was a betting man (and I'm not) I would take the over on that. However, I think this team certainly has the horses to go as far as it wants to. I just think the relative youth and inexperience are going to catch up to it for at least one loss and as many as three (depending on who the bowl opponent is). Right now I would set the over/under on losses at 2.

I agree with this statement. What game do you think we lose? USC, Penn State or BSC game? I would say the USC game is winnable. Playing at Penn State is always tough and whoever we would play in a BCS game will be tough.

Well never forget scUM it's a rivalry game and you can never discount...haha :slappy: oh shit I couldn't even type it. Fuck Michigan!! :oh:

I think we catch USC rebuilding, on the road and beat them and Pryor will put on a show at Happy Valley, beating PSU. Being a young team though, with a lot of fire and talent, I can also see us getting caught against some team we should definitely beat, Purdue, New Mexico state (are they expected to be good this year?), Toledo in Cleveland is even a possibility. Someone will sneak up on this team. 11-1 regular season, BCS bowl. By the end of the season, the Buckyes will be a machine. Bowl win, doesn't matter who they play.

If either NMSU or Toledo beats us we need to forfeit the rest of the season...

These teams could have their best seasons in school history and we should still beat them.

(I did no research of this comment before posting, but I'm pretty confident.)
