Looks as though the monthly donations are pretty popular... you all rock. :)

Mine was set up before the drive to ensure everything was working, and renewal was smooth as silk. The renewal notice came via email two days prior to the next payment, and the receipt was emailed immediately when the charge was made. So just in case anyone was waiting to see if it works - it works. :p

I guess my question is would Buckeye Planet rather have monthly donations or one time donations. I know that they would like to have both but the one-time donations I think would be needed to me immediate expenses while the monthly donations would be more to "sustain" the site. It seems as though all the goodies are going to the monthly donations but that's okay as long as people are giving.:)

Here's hoping that my "snail mail" donation makes it in time for the big drawing on May 1st. Am sending it this morning so we'll see. I'm sending in, in real dollars, the number of games that Woody Hayes won at TOSU. If anyone out there will match that amount, plus ONE SINGLE PENNY more! I will send you a 1984 Game Program TOSU vs scUM when we beat their sorry ass 21-6. In addition to that, I'll send you the "Official TOSU Alumni Association" window sticker which reads :
Ohio State Buckeyes
2002
National
Champions

It's alot cooler than I can describe it. I'd post a pic by I'm a dum-ass.

I'm running out of options, but I'll throw in a copy of the 2003 Spring Game Program, with Krenzel, Nuge, and Gamble on the cover.

Please, make your donation and I'll ask any MOD/ADM to PM me the address of the winner of these 3 prizes. I guess you just have to say "I want WoodyWorshipers stuff" for $205.01. I'll pick up the shipping on this one, just please, beat my donation, and I'll send it for free!

Peace.

This might be a tough one so I'm gonna up-the-ante. Anyone who can hit the above number will receive in addition to the three above mentioned prizes, the following:
**One of the most famous game programs in TOSU history, the 1978 Buckeye vs. Penn State game with Woody and JoPa on the cover. A must for any true Buckeye fan, and fan of CFB. The program itself is a little rough, a tiny bit of invisible tape on the cover and some doodlings of 16 year old "Dubs" on the inside, but put it in a frame like I've had it for the past 15 years and it looks great. If you've never seen the cover, turn to page 463 of Jack Parks Encyclopedia.
**The 1979 Buckeye vs. Iowa game program featured on page 478 of Parks Encyclopedia. It features Gary Williams, Ken Fritz, Ernie Andria, and Ron Barwig in celebration.

If nobody is able to reach the figure by the end of the Spring Drive I will gladly donate all 5 to "BP" and let the powers that be decide what to do with them. Maybe a public auction selling all 5 as one lot to the top bidder would be a good idea. Think of it as "Buy It Now" on eBay, you can have it all for $205.01 today, or wait and try to get it for less later on.

Peace, and please keep the donations coming!! Maybe it will help if this ever happens to YOU!:ban:

It's May 1 and we're going to have our lottery for a Major Award of v10,000,000!

Second prize is v5,000,000, and third prize is v1,000,000. Every dollar donated equals one entry in the drawing.

Let's set the cutoff for drawing entries at 7 p.m. ET. I haven't checked with LongwoodBuck regarding her schedule, but we'll likely be able to touch base later in the evening to pick winners using a random number generator.

Whee!

I just doubled up on my annual donation in the hopes that I can overtake one of you slackers:lol: and become the vcash whore:pimp:

Actually, it was made in honor of Deety who holds the fastest 40 time amongst all the admins and mods:tic:

CONGRATS to NFBuck, JAX, and buckeyeintn. You bitches are holding "my" V$$ dammit, but at least the main "Dog" is holding the real $ for now!

Haven't seen a close date for the "drive" listed anywhere. If there is a set date and I've missed it, I apologize. But if there isn't a date set as of yet I'd suggest running through to Memorial Day. I know that I, and I'm sure quite a few more can shave $$ off their paychecks this month and send it to the best cause on the "planet."

Peace, and thanks to "C-Dog" and "Longwood" for all they give to all of us for FREE. Keep the $$$ coming Buckeye Fans!
