Sprewell at it again...

who cares? it was the fan's fault. Sprewell is the victim here.

I think a lot of people don't recognize the double standard. Fans can say whatever the heck they want but it's a national emergency when a player does it. Sprewell was NOT right in what he did...neither was the fan. It angers me that players hear worse than what Sprewell said EVERY game.

Again..Sprewell's an idiot and shouldn't have said it....but the fan isn't blameless.

Do we know what the fan said (Not flaming, I really don't know)? What if she said, "Spree, are you going to 'choke' again this year?" Wouldn't she get points for creativity?

 Clever insults are always appreciated.

In fact, I can deal with some heckling. What bothers me are personal attacks on an athletes family, racial remarks and obscenities. There is no room for that, especially when you want to take children to a game.

I think maybe you are right in what she said. She asked him if he was going to choke anyone and he said, yeah I'll choke you with... :moo:

Cut the guy some slack, I mean after all, he's got a family to feed. :roll2:

The amusing thing about Sprewell is that he choked his boss and is making $14.1 million dollars doing the same job. I'm sure that, combined with his wonderful choice of words right into a microphone, is setting a fabulous example for the children he professes to care so much about.

Sprewell sued for $200 million

NEW YORK (AP) -The mother of four of former NBA star Latrell Sprewell's children sued him for $200 million Monday, alleging Sprewell broke their long-term cohabitation deal and roughed her up last month in their Westchester County home.

Candace Cabbil brought the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, saying Sprewell recently ended the arrangement that developed after they met in 1989 when both attended the University of Alabama.

"I certainly have no comment about that at this point," said Jonathan C. Smith, an attorney for Sprewell.
