No idea where to post this. I get a lot of medical info and thought it would be interesting reading for sports minded people. I will try and throw stuff out there when I get it.

There is a new technique where doctors are injecting people with their own concentrated blood platelets to fix soft tissue tears and strains. Was used by Polamalu and Hines Ward for the Steelers. Cuts the recovery time by a lot (from 6 to 2 weeks for Ward) and can eliminate surgery in many cases.

I would assume there you could tell us if David Lighty will return this season or not if not well he be okay to go next year.
