Has anybody played this? I saw that it is on sale at Circuit City and was wondering how it is compared to the first one and if I should wait until it gets on the real discount/Plat. Hits shelf.
I played a section of it at my brother's. It's pretty fun, but my brother said that the first one was more challenging, so then I went and bought the first one. I think he finished the second one in a few days.
I played the first one about halfway through on a rental... i thought it was cool. although i didn't like michael ironside as the voice of the character. i thought i would - it just didn't seem to fit to me.
haven't checked out the second one yet.
have you played socom us navy seals? thought that was totally cool. haven't checked out the second one yet.
I bought this one the day it came out. I personally think it's tougher than the first, but I can see it the other way too, since people who have played both were probably more ready to play SCPT than they were the original. IMO, Pandora Tomorrow is one of the best games on the market. The gameplay and the HUD were tweaked and slightly improved. Overall, I liked the single-player experience slightly more in Pandora Tomorrow than the original. The gameplay is thought-provoking and engaging, and the online facet of the game is revolutionary. If you have XBL, this game is essential. I haven't seen the PS2 version of it, but I remember the first one was dumbed down graphically , and I'd imagine the same is the case on the second one.
