Slowly, but surely, our supporting cast has been stepping up. I don't cringe when I see Thompson or Ross taking a jumper (they've been falling), Amir has been better with his fouls and tightened up his bad hands a tad. Only person who seems to be at a lull is Smith Jr.

Great game. The dynamics of this team change when Craft gets aggressive on offense. You don't have to bring an explosion of scoring
from his spot. But if he can attack like that on a more consistent basis then this squad becomes that much more dangerous. Wonderful win.

I was moderating myself when they seemed to sleepwalk through the 6-0 Spartan run to end the half. I think coming back to beat MSU will give the a lot of confidence going into a tough final run through Indianapolis (twice).

I get a bit ticked off because Ohio State fans would have given their body parts to have a Sweet 16 team a few years ago. They could be even better than that, given the right NCAA seeding.

Congrats to Coach Matta for beating Coach Izzo to get #20.

I also believe Craft receives recognition beyond his abilities for reasons most are afraid to say ? he?s a rosey-cheeked white guy. If he?s not, if he looks like Appling, I don?t think he?d be preseason All-Big Ten or featured in Sports Illustrated. That?s not his fault. But it?s the fault of writers who don?t necessarily understand the game or what he brings to it, but fall in love with his reputation and look.

In his game preview, Miller was talking about the Buckeyes trying to cement a first round bye in the Big Ten tournament. I would assume that was what he was talking about after the game. Although, after reading it again, he does not seem to realize that the five seed no longer has a bye.

This is a fine explanation on the abilities of this guy. He now has realized that he can be more effective in this aggressive mode of attack. And there could be a way to free up more moves for Thompson with Craft driving into the paint. I feel that Thompson can be very dangerous once he begins to know more about Craft and his moves. I really think this could all come together in the next 5 or 6 games. We shall see, what we see i guess. Hope it all works out.
