What will Barkley's most difficult task be Saturday night, the walk down and up the ramp or the physicality on the field?

USC football: Matt Barkley experiences one difficult task

In case you just didn?t get enough of freshman quarterback Matt Barkley after USC?s 56-3 victory over San Jose State?.

Among other things, Barkley was asked by a reporter on the field what he had learned about himself as a quarterback.

?That this is fun. This is easy. This is what I was made to do,? Barkley said.

I asked Barkley if there was anything that was difficult.

?The run up the tunnel at halftime,? he said. ?That was brutal.?

Talk to a USC fan about the big ten and they laugh. Yet, when you look at the record of Michigan, Penn State and OSU USC fans quickly point out is how they "own" the big ten.... except for one small problem.

USC almost never travels to face these teams away from the comfy confines of home field advantage. USC has faced Michigan, PSU and OSU a whopping 41 times with an impressive 23-17-1 record. Good reason for 'SC fans to be obnoxious..... that is until you look at the road record.

USC when they travel to Happy Valley 0-2. Ann Arbor 0-1 and Columbus 3-4

While I do have concerns about what I saw with the OL and defense, I am encouraged that the USC football team is likely to take the buckeyes quite a bit more lightly than if they were playing, say Florida. I like the fact that we are an under dog. I just hope that the USC football team is taking OSU as lightly as their fan base.

If you couldn't tell how pumped they were last year, I don't know which game you were watching. I can guarantee they will be ready. :)

I remember the last time a team came into The 'Shoe as a 6 point favorite...that sure worked out for them...

OK, enough of being nice. We may not win this thing but if the D doesn't come out and beat his bitch ass half to death I'm going to be more pissed off about that than losing.

That may have been fun and that may have been easy but that was San Jose State you arrogant little prick. Here's to Thad Gibson showing you what he was made to do.
