Add in the fact that USC plays Notre Dame every year and they aren't dodging anyone OOC. I know, I know but Notre Dame traditionally is a tough opponent.

Notre Dame hasn't been tough in 15 years. It's not like they're going through a short down period. Their glory days are long gone.

Ohio State's football game against Southern California this season will be a prime-time matchup.

The Sept. 12 game in Ohio Stadium will kick off at 8 p.m. Eastern and be televised by ESPN, Ohio State announced today.
"We want to thank ABC/ESPN for making this announcement early so Buckeye fans can plan their schedules for this exciting matchup," OSU athletics director Gene Smith said.
Ohio State is 6-2 in night games in the Horseshoe -- but has lost the past two -- and 32-15 overall when games kick off after 5 p.m. Eastern.
The Buckeyes most recently played a night game in Ohio Stadium on Oct. 25, 2008, a 13-6 loss to No. 3 Penn State.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The University of Southern California will travel to Columbus to take on the Buckeyes for a Sept. 12 prime-time matchup, Eugene Smith, Ohio State associate vice president/director of athletics, announced Friday.


The game will kickoff at 8 p.m. ET and will air on ESPN.

"We want to thank ABC/ESPN for making this announcement early so Buckeye fans can plan their schedules for this exciting matchup," Smith said.


Ohio State is 6-2 in night games at Ohio Stadium and 32-15 overall when games kickoff after 5 p.m. ET (local time).


The Buckeyes last played a night contest at Ohio Stadium Oct. 25, 2008, a 13-6 loss to No. 3 Penn State.
