or until kickoff when we watch QBs rotate in and out at every other snap. But by that reasoning we won't know till after the game whether OSU has an identity at QB this year.
I am surprised not to see DE Everson Griffen on the watch list...There are 30 QBs on the FWAA "watch list". I'd say less than 10 have a legit shot at the post-season honors. Also not mentioned was the fact that OSU also has 8 players on the list: Pryor, Brewster, Boren, Coleman, Pettrey, Small (as a KR), Gibson, and Heyward (misnamed as "Heywood", keep up the good work, Football Writer's Association of America!).

Logged into my e-mail several minutes ago to discover an e-mail from the Alumni Association saying that the ticket lottery results are in. Followed the link to my alumni account to find that I had won tickets to a game. Not just any game, but the USC GAME! AT THE SHOE! AT NIGHT! I am still shaking with excitement as I type this I just thought I should share the AMAZING news. Good luck to you all who are still looking for tickets and I hope to see you all in the Shoe on the 12th! GO BUCKS!!!!!!

This year is a whole new story (barring any injuries). We have a clear #1 QB who will have a full year to work on the offensive gameplan, hopefully healthy Boom and Zoom, and a vastly improved D-line (from what I have read). Then throw in the Horseshoe factor....
USC is also a much different team. New defensive stars, Dirty Sanchez is gone...
Not saying we win this game, but this Buckeye team is much different than last year's at the point of the USC game. Any comparisons really are quite silly. I think the game comes down to TP's ability to find receivers and the D-line's ability to pressure the QB. I guess that's what I said throughout ALL of last year, and most of the time, both factors were a source of frustration. Oh well.... new year = new hope.

A Pete Carroll coached SC team has never been blown out, and I dont see it in the future either. not saying they cant lose, they can, but sorry, dont see a blowout.MSURacerDT55;1495303; said:I just have a feeling that if we win, regardless of what the score is, people are going to minimise the feat and talk about USC being down, especially if we blow them out.
When your team only has to "get up" for a NC caliber opponent once every 12 (or 38) games, that's an easier feat :ptroy#1;1495456; said:A Pete Carroll coached SC team has never been blown out, and I dont see it in the future either.
so it's impossible? I'm certainly not predicting one, I'm just asking whether that's really your stance.not saying they cant lose, they can, but sorry, dont see a blowout.

Thats like me saying OSU only has to get up for 1 game a year. True? I think tOSU is the team to beat in the big-10 just like SC in pac-10. Because SC IS SC, they need to play well EVERY week, or else, well, they get beat when they shouldnt. EVERY team they play in conf. wants nothing more EACH year than to beat SC. Going bowling is second, having the feather in the cap, FIRST, trust me. As for my stance, I said it, I stand by it. By the way, I never said impossible, but if I were a betting man, my money is on NO BLOWOUT.jwinslow;1495457; said:When your team only has to "get up" for a NC caliber opponent once every 12 (or 38) games, that's an easier feat :p
