South Carolina Gets NCAA Notice of Allegations

I dunno....looks to me like it could be LOIC. That does not seem to be a "little" thing at first blush. I cannot imagine them not running this by compliance. So if it was blessed, that is not just FTM.

In documents obtained from the school last October through a Freedom of
Information Act request, its athletic compliance office had signed off on the rate
of $450 per player
for a two-bedroom hotel suite. The NCAA had deemed the rate
should've been $57 per day
for a total of $1,710 per month.

More ESPN/NCAA bullshit. These benefits were not "illegal;" they may have violated NCAA rules. ESPN calling them "illegal" is just blatant sensationalism.

I'm ready for all this nonsense to stop - let's blow up the NCAA.

everything we do. And our compliance people poke, too." - Steven Orr Spurrier

"I hope we are not in serious trouble. I don't think we are going to
be, but you work these things out....I don't think it's embarrassing to
get a letter. I think some stuff can happen... I follow the rules as
closely as I possibly can. If I do break one, I turn myself in."

It's not the NCAA at fault at all, it ESPiN and the other media outlets over-blowing everything just to grab attention and website hits...
