You can be with us, or lose to us.
I have been on here for almost a year but never found my way to this thread, but now that I am here is a little about me. I grew up just south of Youngstown and have been a Buckeye fan all my life. My father was a huge Buckeye fan and I watched my first games with him. I remember not knowing alot about football then and learning all I knew from him. I lost him suddenly when I was 12 but tOSU is one of the passions that he instilled in me that I carry now and will forever. I live in Erie, PA now because of work but I haven't missed a game in the nine years I have lived here. I work at a Country Club as a golf professional and had a lucky circumstance. One of my members is a name that some of the more seasoned members of this board may remember, Jeff Davis. Beacause of this I have been able to go behind the locked doors of the Woody Hayes center, stand on the indoor practice field, tour the players locker rooms and see every part of the Shoe. My friends joke that until you watch your first tOSU game with me you can't be prepared. I have three resounding memories about tOSU:
1) The pain I felt after the MSU loss in 1998. No disappointment has hurt as much as that one. I COULDN'T get out of bed the next day.
2) The joy that night in 2003, I was awake until sunrise watching Sportscenter over and over again.
3) My first game in Ohio Stadium, it actually brought tears to a grown mans eyes for many reasons. (Wish you were there with me Dad)
