Born in 48. My childhood memories are from Loup City and Lincoln Nebraska so I'm lifelong Huaskerfan. My first game at Memorial staduim in Lincoln was way back in the Bill Jennings era before we hired Bob Devaney and rebuilt the dynasty.
I'm a Navy veteran and got in on a unique slice of world history while assigned to the now decommissioned USS Hornet.
We were the recovery ship which picked apollo 11 & 12. Apollo 11 were the first men to walk to face of the moon.

Obvious Nebraska fan that I found via a Buckeye fan that came over to our husker site. Look forward so much to coming to the Big 10. Go Big Red (in this case Nebraska and Ohio State) and here hoping every time we play you, it's a great game. (and we win)

Hi all! Longtime Husker fan and alum ('78) married to a Buckeye (former cheerleader during Woody's era!) who's excited about the Huskers move to the Big Ten and glad to be here. My wife has already thoroughly instructed me in the art of Michigan-hating.

Nebraska Alum here. Went to school there during the the greatest run in school history (60-3, 3 national championships). Born and raised in Omaha.

I work with tons of Hawkeye fans so I've had friendly run-in's with the Big Ten for years, now it's about to get much more serious. I'm loving this grace period we have and have been more than impressed with how gracious each Big Ten team has been so far.

I'm one of about 11 Husker Basketball fans on the interwebs. Been following them for decades as well. Got a long ways to go, but I'm always up for any bball talk. I know OSU has a solid program so I may check out the bball forum too.

Hey SidehatchHusker, good to see you came over to check it out. This boards mission statement isn't much different than what we're used to at Huskerfanclub. Respectful and mature and no flame bombs. I like it.

Just wanted to say thanks for the great welcome. I've heard from a few of our members at Huskerfanclub.com that this is a like-minded culture -- friendly, respectful/civil passionate fans. I am the owner/admin of HFC and simply wanted to pass along my appreciation for the warm welcome we've received from you great Ohio State folks.

As you have heard from some of our other folks, I'll be encouraging our membership to come enjoy your hospitality and the great board you've built here. Nice to make new friends, learn about the Big Ten, and invest in the development of healthy, friendly rivals. Likewise, we invite you to come visit our site and share your insights with us, particularly since it seems we share a common desire for a positive, healthy and respectful sports community.

I feel like we are more at home in the Big 10 already than we ever were in the Big 12. This really is a better fit. Your welcome has made it moreso. Thanks.

I have been a lurker for years and decided to finally join in and post here as well. Love the Buckeyes and the fans are usually like family to me.

Ohio State games are the only place where I have hugged a stranger and a man to boot, and I have let another man high five and hug my wife and think nothing of it.....only at a Buckeye game baby!!!

what are your guys thoughts on no touch icing?

Hope a loyal Boilermaker fan is welcomed here

Hello Buckeye Nation! A buddy of mine who is a tOSU fan told me about this site so I thought I'd check it out. I'm a diehard Boiler and come from a long line of Boiler fans but one thing us Purdue fans dont have is a good active message board to talk sports and BS about whatever, my friend said everyone is welcomed here and its a very active board so hope to make some new friends, talk some Big 10 sports and look forward to some more battles on the basketball court with you guys. I think our football program is headed in the right direction under Coach Hope but we are still a few seasons from serouisly competeing with the likes of you guys,PSU and now Nebraska. Here is to a great upcoming football season for both of our teams and to new friends!

Welcome Crazed Boiler! There are many here to talk B10 sports. There will much to talk about as football season approaches especially when the Buckeyes play the Boilers again this year in the shoe! Let's hope the Buckeyes remember last year's stumble and play with intensity to win it this year. Pryor didn't have a great game last year but his maturity and confidence will be the key this year. Go Bucks!

I'm looking forward to seeing what your four freshmen from my high school (Daytona Beach, Mainland) can contribute to your team this year. I fear as soon as the temps drop to below 50, they are going to be in for a shock.

Welcome, BigD. 16 years.... just thinking, you're so young you can barely remember pre-Tressel. And that's a great thing!

Hopefully OSU continues to win like this until you're my age (142 in August).

I live across the line in Adrian, not too far from Toledo. Toledo's not bad but there are waayyyyy too many scUM fans there.

That makes Best Buckeye not even close to being the oldest BP'er in the Toledo area!
