No disrespect intended gator, you have more than ample right at bragging, i just mean the conference as a whole. when certain teams lose to other teams in this conference it is because they are great teams that they lost to but if that were to happen oputside of this conference say in the case of penn st losing to iowa, people just presume that penn st was actually a weak school and showed their true colors, in reality though, it was just a slip up against a pretty good hawkeyes team, and to use the gators as an example they had a slip against a very good ole miss team. but to get to my point, in all of these conferences the pecking orders pretty much are the same and to say one conference is dominate over another just seems to get me worked up.:osu:

After over two years...

Time to get around to the introductions.

Pushing my Mike Gundy Birthday, grew up in Champaign County Ohio (like RB07OSU) where "That Team Up North" also meant Bellefountain.

Went to a small D3 school in eastern IN, football all four years. Headed to Lexington and UK for my first masters, came back to the alma mater to get another masters (and coach outside linebackers).

Long story longer- moved to Seattle for 8-9 years to work at a small University; moved to Malibu (hence the user name) for a three year stint at the institution of higher education there. Have since moved to another school in La La Land.

Married to a Cornhusker- her grandpa was the head of athletic medicine and team doctor at Nebraska under Devaney and Osborne. As long as UNL and tOSU don't play, our marriage is fine. She's a huge Terrelle Pryor fan.

Initially I showed up here during recruiting season. But, after lurking for 2 years and observing the goin's on at Scout, ESPN, Rivals, and even Bucknuts, I'm thankful for what this site is and the people who've made it that way.

Or, in the words of Crash Davis- "I'm just happy to be here. Hope I can help the ballclub. I just want to give it my best shot, and the good Lord willing, things will work out."

I found my way here quite some time ago, I believe in the runup to a certain NC game which probably shouldn't be mentioned in these parts. I lurked and read a lot of threads, mostly to keep up on what the Big 10 is up to, but also because this is one of the better college football boards around.

(Don't let it go to your heads, but I actually think it's the best message board for a college football team, and second to http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday.com as a college football fan site.)

Over time I considered registering several times, but didn't finalize it until finding a topic I particularly wanted to post on. So, here I am.

Don't expect me to post as much as Gatorubet, though, I'm more of a laid back Gator.

Well, you needn't to worry about me devising sockpuppets... in my world, there are the Gators, a handful of teams I hate, and a vast number I just hope for an interesting game from. If it can't be interestingly good, at least, I pray, may the game be a total train wreck. (I was pleasantly surprised by that 3-0 Steelers-Fins game last year, for instance)
