Yeah, I saw at the top of the page a thread for the 2005 and the 2006 game. 2005 was a great game, and I thought 2006 was closer than it appeared, but it was a sound victory for OSU.

Not to be a jerk here, but I thought in 2005, OSU was the toughest opponent that Texas played, and when VY left, it was a given that we had that game. Honestly, Vince Young beat us, not that team, he did to us, the exact same thing he did to SC, but we were a little more ready for it.

Anyways, glad to have you here, love to have fans from other teams and conferences to hear their thoughts.

Welcome to BP.

I'm not sure. Our defense was all over the field that day. Jamaal Charles had a good game. Limas had to catch that ball, too. Our defense that year was beastly.

I won't say 2006 was a lock, but I was sure that OSU was going to beat us. This really isn't the thread for it, though. :)

Great!! :)

It sounds like you will make it out to be more tantalizing conversation here at BP!!

Wow, that post hurt my brain. Why didn't you say "The douchebags from the pay sites don't like me, if I step out of line here please tell me, if I offend or anger anyone let me know, I am a fan OF THE BUCKEYE" and that would have summed it up. Trust me, we have a lot of people here who are banned from other forums, but be reasonable, be willing to accept criticism, and be willing to take what the admins here as information to protect your online image, as well as keep you a poster here. If you post good information, and you don't overly criticize recruits or players, you'll do fine. However, if that's your bit, and you want to say negative things about the team, coach, players, or recruits, well, you'll see your outcome.

BP is what it is, it's BuckeyePlanet, the admins and contributors go out of thier way to get as much information as possible, if that's what you are looking for, then welcome to the planet.

Hi Everyone

I'm a 2007 graduate of OSU and I'm currently living in South Korea teaching English.

I love all things Buckeye--football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse...

I used to work at the Fawcett Center where the teams would come to eat for their training tables. So I got to know a few of the players (from 2004-2006). It's amazing how conversations spring up over meatloaf. Some of them were gentlemen and really funny and nice. Others weren't so great.

Anyways, I can't wait for the season to start! Go Bucks!!! :osu:

Do you guys have room for a U-M hater here?

Hello Buckeyes,

I am a WVU Mountaineer that freakin' hates Michigan! I grew up just down the road from Rich Rodriguez, went to high school with him, and played football with him as well. I think he screwed WVU big time, and pray he'll do more harm than good to Michigan. Furthermore, I take great delight in the "smack-downs," tOSU have been give them for the last several years. So tell me, how bad are you going to beat them this year? God strike me dead if I'm lying....I went out and bought a OSU jersey!

Welcome

How bad we'll beat That School/State Up North (TSUN) is a matter of some debate here. Some believe that they are most dangerous when they are perceived to be weak. Others think that they will be just plain weak.

IMHO the Buckeyes will give them their worst beating since 1968.

This is as good a place as any for a first post. I grew up in Columbus and have always been a Buckeye. I now live in upstate NY. It's not easy being a Buckeye outside of Ohio. I took my son back to Columbus to attend one of the football camps and got to meet Coach Tressel and I was very impressed with him. Looking forward to reading these forums.

congratulations, SkullSession, on raising your son The Right Way. Yeah, you gotta teach him to brush his teeth and respect his elders and all that, but taking him to an OSU football camp, and meeting Jim Tressel, wow, what a great start.

How old is your kid? Do you think he appreciated the legend of JT?

....or did he roll his eyes and say, "whatever"?

Oh yeah, if you think Upstate NY is tough, try working in Ann Arbor!

Welcome to the board!

Thanks for the Welcome! I'll concede that it must be a lot tougher to be a Buckeye where you work!!! My son was in 9th grade when he attended one of the Buckeye football camps. He is now a junior in college. He has a Mike Doss jersey.. and he definitely appreciates Coach Tressel.
